Hi,
I recentky updated my ios to version 11 on the iPad, ive noticed that some fonts are not displaying correctiy on safari?
These are fonts on the nav menu, some fonts on the page and the footer?
Is there any code that needs to be added to correct this?
Hello,
What version of the Safari browser do you use? Please provide some screenshots.
Regards
I’m using safari version 11, if you have iOS 11 it is version left.
Using safari 11 (iPad) http://prntscr.com/j7ihms
Using google chrome on iOS 11 (iPad) http://prntscr.com/j7ift2
Even your own website font displays differently whilst I’m using safari
Hello,
Unfortunately, we can do nothing in case the problem independent of the theme.
Looks like it is a specific problem of the new version of ios. You will have the same situation with fonts even with a default theme.
Regards
Your theme developers should be aware of this, making the theme render across browsers, most designers will do this.
From what I’m reading it is font rendering / smoothing that is the issue.
Hello,
Screenshots that you provided displays 2 different types of font – serif and sans-serif. I suppose Safari just does not display the font that should be – Lato and use some serif font.
We don’t see the described problem when checking your site with iOS 10. Unfortunately, we have not updated devices to iOS 11 yet to check the site with this version.
Can you, please, check and confirm that Lato font works fine with the default WP theme for you?
Regards
