Fontawesome / xStore Icons – will not show in menu

I have tried a few times with each set of icons and cant seem to get them to load in the menu

Im trying to use this icon : https://fontawesome.com/icons/cards-blank?s=light&f=classic

Can someone show me exactly what part of the code needs to go into the menu. I have added this but nothing shows

Hello, @GazTheGoat,

First of all, you have to go to XStore >> Theme Settings >> Speed Optimization and turn ON FontAwesome Support: https://postimg.cc/620fQTCy and then you have to copy the name of the FontAwesome Icon from the FontAwesome site: https://postimg.cc/qNynRzT4 and paste it in the Menu Settings: https://postimg.cc/0r4J0p59

It will surely work for you, as it is working for me on my test site: https://postimg.cc/B8hvQ0XJ

And an important Note: Please try to use the FontAwesome version 5, https://postimg.cc/3k18nTj2 the icon you were trying to use is from the FontAwesome version 6 and that was the main reason for the issue: https://postimg.cc/KRymbzJn

Ok i have done what you have said and its working, thank you.

Also when will you support the lastest version of fontawsome?

Is there a way I can add my own custom icon to the menu instead of font awsome.

Hello, @GazTheGoat,

Yes, you can add your custom Icon/image to the menu items as well, you have to upload it from Menu item settings: https://postimg.cc/4nYywH7P and then go to item element setting and choose the option: “Use image like” as “image” and it will work for you: https://postimg.cc/vxnQy95d

Regarding the latest version of font-awesom icons so we are currently working on the updates very soon this will be included and supported in the theme. Thanks for your corporation.
