Hello,
In footer 1 there is a banner made on the right side using a text block and by copying the code from the documentation and the video: I did that, but the href link doesn’t work. Also in royal default demo nothing happens when you click on it (I could find an example in woopress demo displaying the footer 1).
How to appyly a working link?
Best regards,
Gerhard
Hello,
Please provide us with correct wp-admin credentials.

Here you are
Hello,
I’ve added this banner into tag <a href="your link here"></a>
and now it’s working fine. See screenshot: http://prntscr.com/9fz8xg
Also you need to remove the second banner there.
Regards,
Robert Hall.
Hello,
I see that, thank you! My links was in the same place as in the documentation, but not working. it is still there. But why is the link only working on the very edge of the banner, not inside?
I included the second banner as a widgetised sidebar to test if this was working better, but it isn’t because there is no preview in the widget area, with a textbox used in a widgetised sidebar. I removed it now, so I don’t know how good your memory is. What did work was that the widget title automatically gets the right style on the page. As you can see this text bannertitle “attentie” won’t get underlined like the textbox with the title “informatie”
i.e.:
how to get the complete banner hyperlinked;
How to get the tile in the style like the widgetised sidebars beside it.
Last: Did you notice the slowness of the admin environment or was it working normal and fast for you?
Best regards,
Team Borijn
Hello,
extra information:
I removed the title of the banner because perhaps a banner doesnot need a title, but what strange is, is that when I copy the textblock from footer2 (with the title informatie) then the title is also not underlined in this right side of footer1.
Further is this banner not hyperlinked properly and the upper text (leveranciers) disappears on a smart phone and also when the browser is narrowed.
Best regards,
Team Borijn
Hello,
I’ve edited a code on the Home page. Please check the banner now.
Last: Did you notice the slowness of the admin environment or was it working normal and fast for you?
As I see your site working perfect now.
Regards,
Robert Hall.
Hello,
I see the banner works now. Thanks. I Don’t know what you did. The title underlining issue stays open.
What code did you change and did it influence the slowness in the admin page? Or didnot you think it is slow when making changes to the site?
Best regards,
Team Borijn
I can’t see ‘attentie’ title on the Home Page.
Please provide screenshot for our better understanding what exactly you mean about title.
I’ve added correct link for banner (http://prntscr.com/9gr1uy) and this code don’t influence for site speed.
Regards,
Robert Hall.
Hello,
I did remove the title, see above. Now it is there again without the designed underlining.
2nd: the upper text (leveranciers) disappears on a smart phone and also when the browser is narrowed. is this a bug or how to debug it?
Best regards,
Team Borijn
I’ve added the following code in Global Custom CSS. Please check it.
1)
.vc_column_container .wpb_text_column .widget-title{
border-bottom: 1px solid #ddd;
padding: 0px 0px 10px 0px;
text-align: left;
font-size: 16px;
line-height: 1em;
}
2)
.banner .banner-content h5 {
display: block;
}

Robert Hall.
Hello,
I have seen it and it works, allthough “Enable Custom CSS” file is not even switched on. I couldnot have done such things: Thanks. The link in the banner is gone again by the way, but I suppose I can get that back myself now….
Best regards,
Team Borijn
Hello Team Borijn,
is your problem solved?
Regards,
Stan Russell.
Hello,
Yes my problem is solved, thanks for the help. Allthough I don’t understand why it works while custom css is not activated in theme options?
Best regards,
Team Boeijn
Hello,
The reason is you added the code in Theme Options block, not in the file.
If you make changes in wp-content/themes/woopress/custom.css file then you have to enable Custom CSS option.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
