Hi, great theme by the way.. But I am having problems with the Footer Copyright section. After I enter in the information, I cannot get it to fill the the entire bottom section, instead it automatically wraps.. how can I fix?

….And sometimes the footer sections text are blacked out as if the text goes to black.. looks like a glitch. I notice it on ALL browsers, I mainly use Chrome Version 43.0.2357.81 (64-bit).

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Please update the theme to the latest version.
Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/legenda/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .

Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

I updated the theme, I followed the steps in the video exactly.. when the update was complete, I encountered an error when the page loaded.. “Fatal error: Call to undefined function vc_column_offset_class_merge() in /home/kingpinstation/public_html/wp-content/themes/legenda/framework/vc.php on line 1172

Hey thanks for the quick response. For starters why isn’t there a way to make updates in a more seamless manner? Other themes have an update button within the CMS, but with this theme everything seems to have to be done manually..and it’s seriously putting me behind schedule!!!

The link you provided me earlier just takes me to a page which allows me to download the current version of the plugins, but it does not provide instructions on how to actually do the upadate. Can you PLEASE provide me with DETAILED instructions on how to update the required plugins? ..or are you some how able to do it for me??

I am seriously behind schedule, and I really appreciate your help.. but the “back and forth” is really costing me valuable time… PLEASE HELP.. PLEASE!!!!

    Thanks is Advance!

    Hello,

you can manually update plugins using FTP or CPanel. Download latest versions of plugins, then navigate to wp-content/plugins directory on your FTP or File manager, delete outdated plugins folder and upload fresh ones. After that you need to activate new plugins in Dashboard > Plugins.

    Regards,
    Stan Russell.

Thanks. Everything updated fine, but I am still having the issue with the “footer copyright section” not aligning up right.. and other areas of the footer, the text is blacked out; that wasn’t the case before. Do you know what may be the problem?

    Thanks In Advance!

    Hello @ctcempire,

The problem with copyright text alignment was that you placed all text in “Footer Copyright” widget area in Appearance > Widgets. I’ve moved that text to the “Footer Links” as you can see on the screenshot http://prntscr.com/7jwds9
Regarding the problem with blacked out text I’ve disabled CSS animation in Visual Composer editor for the “Footer 2” static block.
    Please check your site now.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hello @kamalkhanna12121,

You need to create a new footer as described in the theme documentation:
    https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/index.html#!/footer

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

Thank you so much… you are awesome! Everything is how I want them now. Two more things..

    1) How do I disable the CSS animation in Visual Composer editor for the body content for the home page? I am having the same blacked out text problem there as well…the section in the middle of the page right above the twitter slider.

    2) In reference to the social media icons that appear when you hover over the team/artist profile pics, how do I make the link open up in a new tab (ex. set the target=_blank)?

    Thanks In Advance!

…and the blacked out text is occurring on other pages as well, like the “About Us” page and others…

    Thanks In Advance!

    Hello @ctcempire,

    1. I’ve disabled all CSS animation effects for your home page in VC editor. Please check it now.
To disable CSS animation on other pages go to WP Dashboard > Pages > Edit required page > Edit block where “CSS animation” is displaying.

    2. You can edit the wp-content/themes/legenda/framework/shortcodes.php file in lines 1465-1477. For example change line:
    $html .= '<a href="'.$a['linkedin'].'"><i class="icon-linkedin"></i></a>';
    to
    $html .= '<a href="'.$a['linkedin'].'" target="_blank"><i class="icon-linkedin"></i></a>';

    Best Regards,
    Jack Richardson.
