Hi,
I created the footer using static blocks and it is fine for all pages except the ones related to the shop. For some reason, these pages do not inherit the theme properties.
I tried using some CSS to fix the footer at the bottom, however this is a temporary fix and not the desired final solution.
Could you please let me know if there is something I can do so all pages have the same fixed footer?
Here is the desired footer placement, which is baked into the theme.
However, all pages related to the shop have this footer. I have included the image links in the private content area.
you can see that the second footer is fixed at a certain height and has a lot of white space after it.
please let me know what I can do differently
Best

Hi,
Thank you for the prompt reply, apologies for being unclear.
I added the correct credentials in the private content area.
With respect to the issue, here are the main points:
– Footer is not consistent throughout the website.
– Single product pages & Category pages do not have a fixed footer.
– Every other page has the desired footer, except the single product pages & category pages.
– I used the static block + widgets( footer column 1) to implement the footer ( as described by your tutorials)
From the pages section, you can click on the “Landing page – official ” as your starting point. The footer on the landing page (home), about us, contact us and even the shop page behaves accordingly. You can use the main menu to navigate and analyze. This is the desired outcome. Please use this as your baseline.
The issue arises from the “All Product” section, click on any product and view the single product page. An example of the issue can be seen when you click on the following product (“KIMBERLY CLARK – “IN-SIGHT” Double plastic toilet paper roll dispenser”). You can confirm this issue by looking through the different products.
In brief, when viewing single product pages, the height of the footer is fixed at a certain height and there is white space that is generated after the footer. The footer does not stick at the bottom unlike the other pages.
I am currently developing on a 27 inch monitor. It looks fine on smaller screens, but when scaled to a higher resolution, we notice that the footer is fixed at a certain height and white space fills in the rest of the browser.
I believe the issue is related with woocommerce. I understand that anything shop related is managed by woocommerce and that the theme adds styling to these pages. I believe there is some disconnect between the theme and the shop, where the footer behaves differently for some reason.
The desired outcome is for the footer to be uniform across the whole website, to be in line with the all the other pages.
Please do not hesitate to contact me for more information or to clear some things.
Thanks
Matt
Hello, Matt K,
Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.
Do you mean this – https://prnt.sc/8iNiGXA_SbSu ?
Our theme does not have the option to fix the footer to the window bottom. It displays the footer at the bottom of the page content and if your page content is too short then additional space appears below the footer to the window bottom.
You can try to use the next custom CSS code:
.content-page {
min-height: calc(100vh - 400px);
}
We hope this information is helpful.
