Footer not displaying correctly - by bipolar

Hello,
I am trying to create the prefooter and footer as in the demo. I have read through and followed the documentation but fear that i may be doing something wrong.
I created 4 widget areas and put the relevant content into each. i also created the static block “prefooter” and row with 4 widgetised sidebars in 1/4 columns
i selected which footer widget for each and published it
i aso hen put in footer1 widget the static block named prefooter
updated everything but am getting a long footer with content on the right only
what have i done wrong?? im perplexed haha

Hello,

Please update the theme to the latest version – 1.4 and the plugin Ultimate VC Addons as well.
You can find its latest version in the new theme package in royal/framework/plugins directory.

In my thema legend I have version 2.4.1 and updated visual composer. I have the same problem of not prefooter missible as the demo.
