Dear theme-team,
We have a question regarding the footer. We want to add a (full page width) background to our footer by adding this in a static block. The block is placed in the prefooter row “sidebar”. The content shows but the background doesn’t. Also if just adding a background-colour to the row it doesn’t show in the footer.
Thanks in advance for your support!
Hello,
As I see you’re already added background color for footer area.

Thanks for your quick reply. If you take a look at the static block ‘footer static block 2’ you can see that – using the Visual Composer – we added a full width background image to the row containing the footer information.
Unfortunately this picture doesn’t show up in the footer on the pages. The same happens if we just want to add a certain colour to the row.
Hello,
Please try to add the following code in Child Theme.
.vc_custom_1438784126868{
background-image: url(http://mappa.besidespurple.nl/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/footer.gif?id=918) !important;
background-repeat: no-repeat !important;
}

Robert Hall.
Works! Thank you!
