Front Page – Featured, Popular, New, Sale

This is something I wanted to check: the featured, popular, new and sale tab on the front page. How much control do we have over it?

I know we can:
A/ feature a product from the back-end, but can we manually set the order. At the moment they are random
B/ popular products – how is this being decided, by number of sales? Can we influance the ordering?
C/ new arrival – marking them as ‘new’ in the backend (if we want to, how can we disable any of these tabs?
D/ sale – these should be the items that are on sale? Testing on my template I have an item that isn’t on sale and still shows up. Any reason why this could be?

Hello,

A. You can set order type in Products element settings:

B. Popular products are those, that are best sold. You can also change order type in Products element settings.

C. If you want to remove a tab just click “trash” icon in VC editor:

D. As I see in your home page editor all products are selected to show for Sale tab:
http://storage5.static.itmages.com/i/16/0226/h_1456494227_5841245_5806f0294d.png , that’s why all products are displayed.
