    Hello, Terpsauce,

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We have reviewed the store page and noticed that an unregistered user can only see the following view: https://prnt.sc/SuokRGuBxEDY (without products and header).

    Following this, we tested the shop page by logging into the account you previously created for our team – https://prnt.sc/HCHn44FpeXQu . However, we are still unable to replicate the issue shown in your screenshot.

    Could you please clarify what steps we need to take to see the same issue as you? Additionally, which account should we use for testing?

    Looking forward to your response.

    Best regards,
    8Theme’s Team

    Please login in as customer, I don’t think its visible as an admin.

    Just to clarify, I did restore back after encountering this and another problem when doing a full plugin update, the problem did go away after the restore. I have not done a full plugin update this time, just updated the theme itself.

    I am using google chrome .

    Hello, Terpsauce,

    You can use the following custom CSS code to address the issue:

    .etheme-elementor-header-sticky.sticky-on .etheme-elementor-header-wrapper {
        top: 0px;
    }

    Warm Regards,

    Dear @Terpsauce,

    We kindly ask you to address each question separately so that we can resolve them one by one efficiently.

    Regarding the issue mentioned in your screenshots of next reply (https://www.8theme.com/topic/gap-appeared-in-sticky-header-after-last-theme-update/#post-438327), please note that the settings from Theme Options do not apply in your case, as you are using a header built with Elementor. We have also added a notice in the Customizer for clarification: (https://prnt.sc/i4jnZ85-gckk).

    For reference, when using the Header Builder in Elementor from XStore Builders, the header settings from Theme Options will not be effective: https://prnt.sc/xhn6lZlRJaXf.

    Additionally, we noticed that you have combined issues from two different websites within the same topic. This makes it difficult for us to determine where the suggested fixes have been applied and where they have not. To ensure a smooth resolution, we kindly ask you to address each website separately.

    Lastly, upon reviewing your original website, we did not find any gap in the sticky header.

    Please let us know how you would like to proceed, and we will be happy to assist you further.

    Best regards,

    1: Its the same website, I was advising you that it was now moved to a different domain.

    2: I have sent screenshots showing the gap.

    3: This setting was not modified by me, the header was set up long time ago, and has changed by itself.

    4: Gap still persists, shown in screenshots.

    5: You sent me code for the issue, so the issue must already be understood.

    Thanks

    Dear @Terpsauce,

    We have reviewed the screenshot you provided and noticed that the admin bar should be visible. However, it is possible that a browser extension may be hiding it. When we check the checkout page, the admin bar appears above the sticky header, as shown in this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/YqJ7cH6lvoRN.

    Additionally, when we attempt to access the page in incognito mode, we are redirected to the login page, preventing us from placing an order, which aligns with the expected behavior.

    To better understand and resolve this issue, could you please provide more details on how you are testing it? Specifically:
    – Are you using any specific credentials for these tests?
    – Have you encountered this issue in only one browser, or have you tested it in multiple browsers?

    Your insights will help us investigate further. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to your response.

    Im not logged in as an admin, I don’t use google chrome for admin activities, only testing as a customer account. Never have logged in as admin on this browser. Its NOT admin bar

    You can log in as a customer to test it, just like you should be initially

    There is no orderers being placed at the moment due to all the4 issues that arose with your theme after transfer. This issue is not related to cart activity, this issue is the header

    .etheme-elementor-header-sticky.sticky-on .etheme-elementor-header-wrapper {

    }

    You already provided me code for this issue, so to claim you can’t identity it is nonsense.

    This code you provided me, only made changes in the elementor editor, but the changes were only visible in the builder, not on the live site.

    Dear @Terpsauce,

    We hope you are doing well.

    We have noticed an unusual behavior where the WordPress admin bar CSS file is being loaded for customers, even if they do not have an administrator role.

    In your case, we recommend the following custom CSS solution to address this issue:

    html:not(:has(#wpadminbar)) .elementor-location-header {
        --wp-admin--admin-bar--height: 0.001px;
    }

    For optimal placement of custom CSS code, please refer to our documentation:
    https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/additional-customisation/optimal-placement-for-custom-css-code/

    Should you have any further questions or require additional assistance, please feel free to reach out.

    “We have noticed an unusual behavior where the WordPress admin bar CSS file is being loaded for customers, even if they do not have an administrator role.”

    Ok, so its a bug with the theme, thanks for confirming, however your theme should recognise that Customers and admins should not be the same. ALSO: This bug was not shown in the demo, and has only occurred after update, along with other issues which have been resolved now

    With regards to new code, if you could tell me where to place it thanks. I doubt the documentation states “in case of theme bug do x’ , so please tell me where to put it in this circumstance. Thanks

    Dear @Terpsauce,

    We hope you are doing well.

    We would like to inform you that we have provided an article regarding the optimal placement of custom CSS. You can find it at the following link:
    https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/additional-customisation/optimal-placement-for-custom-css-code/

    Please review the information there.

    Additionally, the CSS file in question is loaded by WordPress itself and is not related to our theme. This file is loaded for customers even when the corresponding panel is not displayed. You may downgrade our theme for testing purposes; however, we are confident that the issue will persist, as it was caused by a WordPress update rather than a theme update.

    If the issue is resolved using our suggested snippet, please feel free to mark this topic as closed.

    Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    Added the code, 2nd header fixed on desktop and tablet landscape, however

    The main header appears to repeat the wrong behaviour on

    Mobile Landscape, tablet portrait, so please let me know when you have the full solution so I can remove the other code.

    Dear @Terpsauce,

    We hope this message finds you well.

    We have tested the reported issue on your original website and were unable to reproduce the problem. We conducted tests while logged in as an administrator, in incognito mode, and as a demo customer, and in all cases, the issue did not occur.

    To assist you further, could you please provide us with more specific details regarding your testing environment? Additionally, we kindly ask you to share a video demonstrating the issue. We noticed that your tests were performed on both the staging and live websites, and we are uncertain on which version the snippet was added. If the snippet was implemented on the live site and you are now testing on the staging site, please ensure that the same snippet has been added there as well.

    Kindly include the URL of the website where you are conducting the tests, along with any other relevant information that may help us investigate further.

    The problem is gone on desktop, regarding the second header.

    Perhaps the changes were being made to the staging website, and subsequently were not visible when checking the result (checking on main site)

    Sorry for the confusion there.

    However the problem with the main header, repeating this behaviour on mobile landscape is still present.

    I don’t have iPad with me right now to re-test the issue mentioned on iPad,

    but I’ve just checked the main header on mobile landscape and its still there. screenshot attached.

    Dear @Terpsauce,

    We hope this message finds you well.

    We have reviewed the issue while logged in with administrator credentials, but we were unable to replicate the problem. Additionally, we attempted to access the demo user account you previously provided via the following link: https://www.8theme.com/topic/gap-appeared-in-sticky-header-after-last-theme-update/#post-438541. However, it appears that the login credentials are no longer valid, and we are therefore unable to proceed with further testing.

    If you would like us to investigate the issue using a customer account, we kindly ask that you provide updated and correct access credentials. Furthermore, please let us know the screen resolution and browser you are using for testing, as this information will help us better understand the issue.

    Lastly, could you please confirm whether the code snippets we suggested in the following post have been implemented on the website you are testing? https://www.8theme.com/topic/gap-appeared-in-sticky-header-after-last-theme-update/#post-438570. If the fixes have not been applied, it is expected that the issue would still be present.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    As mentioned numerous times:

    This is a USER issue, not admin.

    Testing to see the issue as an admin is irrelevant.

    Demo User account still exists (if you had admin access anyway you should have just made one)

    Screesnhots have been provided above.

    The main header appears to repeat the wrong behaviour on

    Mobile Landscape, tablet portrait, so please let me know when you have the full solution so I can remove the other code.

    Resolution is irrelevant, mobile devices, iPads.

    What I said was

    Portrait on tablet.
