Hello!
We have a LOT of product categories, and I want them displayed in 4 columns, but directly under the menu button. I tried the following with a static block:
Somehow it only works like this:
-Catalog/Menu button –
— Categories –
— Al categories in 4 columns
I want the 4 columns with all the product-categories directly underneath the catalog button, without the sub-menu (named categories here). Is this possible, and how?
Here is a screenshot:

Oh yes, almost forgot, I am using the “All departments” option for this.
Kind regards,
Nancy

Thank you for your help, the categories list seem interesting! Could you share the settings for the kind of container that you used? My list keeps showing up as one big column, even after copying the settings you used.

Hello, Nancy,
The columns option doesn’t work because of your categories hierarchy, where a low of sub-categories for 1 parent category – https://prnt.sc/hlIcvwBqSuVv
We’ve added custom CSS code (screenshot in the Private Content area).

Thank you!
I also added this to the CSS:
.elementor-widget-etheme_categories_lists ul li ul li ul {
display: none;
}
I only need to show the.. subcategories, and not the sub sub or the sub sub sub hahaha.
Is this the way or am I overlooking a setting?
It does give me the effect I desired on desktop.
Hello, Nancy,
Thank you for the response.
You can use the mentioned code in case it gives you a better results, we just recommend adding a “selector” https://elementor.com/help/how-to-use-selector-in-the-custom-css-tab/ , as in example https://prnt.sc/CrdAuXAgZzTq
Kind Regards,
