Getting rid of the language and currency links ?

Hi there!

How do I get rid of the language and currency links, please? http://screencast.com/t/RJts7zj4onup
I don’t want to remove the entire menu (as I want to keep the “your account/log-in” links top right), just the language and currency links. I looked into the widgets , but the top right one has no content to remove.

Hello,

Go to Appearance > Widgets and add an empty Text widget into “Left side top bar area”.
