    Unexpectedly Google Adwords has stopped allowing my ads as of 30 days ago. In the Google Merchant Center I have a notice “Account suspended due to policy violation: Broken landing page” and when I go to the Google Search Console to see what the problem is, it seems to be focused entirely on Mobile Usability and I am getting daily messages as follows:

    Clickable elements too close together
    Content wider than screen

    When I look for details it doesn’t give me much information, showing me a screen shot of the mobile menu?

    I don’t know what to do to fix as the pages I look at all appear to be fine, not using full width and only a couple links present. I have had this Theme for 5 years and only now Google shuts our advertising down so I am guessing there criteria doesn’t work with something in the X-Store Theme?

    Please help!

    Hello, @George,

    Thanks for the screenshot I have understood your issue.

    Now, In order to solve your issue simply go to the Dashboard >> XStore >> Theme OPtions >> Theme Custom CSS >> Global and then paste the below code at the bottom of the CSS box there.

    .mobile-menu-popup .et-close-popup{z-index:999999999 !important;}
    .et_b-tabs .et-tab{font-size:30px !important; color:red !important;}

    Then save settings and check back to your site after clearing the browser cache.

    Note: in the above code the word “30” is the size and the word “red” is the color you can change it with you want.

    Regards 8Themes Team.

    Thank you! That fixed the font color & size on the mobile menu.

    Please find 3 screenshots in private area for remaining problems with mobile view:

    1.) SELECT THE MENU dropdown selector not working
    2.) Menu close “X” link not working to close the menu when using the CATEGORIES first feature
    3.) Portfolio Page (Projects on our website) – Page links to go to new portfolio too close and too smal

    Thanks

    Hello, @George,

    1- I have checked your site URL and found no issue it is fine as you can see in this image: https://postimg.cc/NyGmygVT there is no issue.

    2- In my previous reply I shared a CSS code with you below one:

    .mobile-menu-popup .et-close-popup{z-index:999999999 !important;}

    This code is to solve this issue and I checked your site you didn’t add this code please check my previous reply and fix it.

    3- In order to solve your issue simply go to the Dashboard >> XStore >> Theme OPtions >> Theme Custom CSS >> Global and then paste the below code at the bottom of the CSS box there.

    @media(max-width:575px){
    .et-masonry-filters-list li{padding-bottom:20px !important; font-size:25px !important;}}

    iTEM #3 SOLVED, THANKS

    But

    Problem #2 solution does not work. When using the mobile menu, and the SHOP titled menu is active the “X” link to close the menu does not function. Mobile menu only closes using the “X” link when the MENU title is active.

    problem #1 still not working. Unfortunately you did not understand my request. Using the mobile menu titled “MENU” should have links to my website pages but there are none. The drop down selector on the XStore for choosing which menu to display does not work at all.

    Hello, @George,

    2- The thing is there must be a cache issue because the code I added in the theme settings doesn’t appear on front, and the code is right because the same code when I added it in the browser inspect tool it works like a charm. I have recorded a video for you to see what I want you to know: https://streamable.com/veb5ci

    In this video, you will see that the code is added but it not works because of the cache. When the server cache got strong the site will load from the cache, Also, I can see that you are using the cache/optimizer plugins as well.

    So please first disable the plugins and contact your service provider to flush the server cache completely and disable the cache system until your site is in development mode. I hope your issue will be resolved.

    1- Regarding the menu issue the thing is you are using the “Ubermenu” plugin I disable this plugin and the menu started to appear fine as you can see in the video. I attached the video in point number 2.

    Regards 8Themes Team.

    Item #1 is working after inactivation of Uber Menu and the drop down menu selector for Mobile View is functioning properly. Thanks!

    Item #2 getting the “X” close function to work on Mobile View for the Categories First Menu called “Shop” is still not working. I cleared the server cache at the hosting site and cleared it using WP Rocket on our website. I saw your video but don’t know what to do now? Any other ideas to get it to work? Really would like to get it working.

    Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hello, @George,

    Please try to disable all the third-party plugins (including cache plugins), that does not come bundled with XStore https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/ , clear the cache of the browser, and check then. Maybe one of the additional plugins is the reason for the problem.

    And if the issue will still persist then please remain all the third-party plugins deactivated on your site and allow permission to debug your site which includes deactivating all the third-party plugins and on-site Customization as well so that I will check and assist you accordingly.

    Note: Please take the complete backup of your site first.

    Hello, @George,

    Actually, it is hard to understand what you are trying to say, All I understand is that you want to change the font color to white from black. But if I change the color to white it will not appear because the background is also white changing the font color to white will look like this: https://postimg.cc/YLq9rdZY so users will be confused and a big white space will appear text will be there but not able to visible. So if you don’t mind would you please elaborate on it for a better reference to understand your issue?

    on mobile view please use hte Menus button to access the menu. 2 options appear, one titled Shop and the other Menu. Please access the Menu option. The first and last link say PRODUCTS and ABOUT US. Both have a drop down option to see additional links. Please press the down arrow link. The text that now appears is black and should be white against the blue background. When you are in the SHOP menu the links work properly and white colored text appears when using the drop down link ot see additional page links.

    Hope this helps Thanks

    Please see screenshot from the Google Search Console on why they are rejecting my Portfolio (Projects) page on mobile view. Need help as it makes no sense. Font is very large and spacing very far apart when actually looking at it but Google says no and their screenshot shows small font and tight spacing?

    Hello, @George,

    Visually there is no issue/error on your site and all the content is set to fine all clickable elements are not close to each other and the font size is not too small to read, please see the image: https://postimg.cc/sQwFr6qQ all is fine there is nothing wrong in the page that I can help you to fix it.

    Also, the site page indexing is covered in SEO services and the SEO services are beyond our limitations. You can ask your developer to check it further and fix it.

    I hope you can understand our limitations.
