Hiya, if I would like to install Google Tab Manager, shall I keep “Google Analytics Code” box under theme option general empty by deleting the existing code I copied and pasted from Google previously?
Shall I create a child theme to install Google Tab Manager snippet so that it won’t get overwritten upon updates, because it is said that I would need to Copy the container code and paste it onto every page of my website (place it immediately after the opening <body> tag)? Alternatively, is it another plugin or other ways to achieve the installation?
Many thanks.
Hello,
If you’re going to use some plugin you can remove the code from the “Google Analytics Code” section in Theme Options.
Also if the original theme files need to be changed you should create child theme and make modifications in there to avoid losing changes after the theme update.
Thank you.

Eva hey,
I don’t use any plugin, I entered my Google analytic code in the option section and still I get the “missing a code” warning.
I attached my u/n & p/w.
Thanks,
guy
Hello @guychaimy,
Could you please clarify where you see that warning?
Thank you.
