    Hello XStore Support Team,

I’m experiencing an issue with the Google Maps integration on my website’s contact page, which uses the XStore theme.

The problem is that Google Maps sometimes doesn’t load on the desktop version of the page, and it never loads on the mobile version. I’ve tried different browsers and devices, but the issue persists.

Could you please help me resolve this problem?

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Best regards,
    Marko Domić.

    Hello, @Marko Domic,

Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.

We suggest disabling all third-party plugins (including cache plugins and CDN ) that do not come bundled with XStore (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/ ), clearing the cache of the browser, and then checking again. It is possible that one of the additional plugins is causing the issue.

If the issue still persists, please keep all third-party plugins deactivated on your site and grant permission to debug your site, which includes deactivating all third-party plugins and on-site Customization. This will allow us to investigate and assist you accordingly.

Please note that you should take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.

In addition, please provide your site’s WP Admin URL and credentials in the private content area of this topic, so that we can look into it further and help you:

Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi, I’ve provided admin account in private content area. I need to point out that I had this issue before caching and all other plugins.

    Best regards,

Thank you so much! Now, google maps are visible, but not every time. So, if we do couple of times refresh of the same window, sometimes, map is there and sometimes it isn’t. I’m not sure why this is happening, as it doesn’t make sense that it works from time to time.

    Best regards,
    Marko Domić.

So, whenever that happens, that map is not showing, I’m seeing this error in browser console:

TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'DEFAULT')
        at GoogleMap (google-map.js?ver=5.3.18:28:67)
        at _runHook (frontend.min.js?ver=3.23.4:2:35220)
        at Object.doAction (frontend.min.js?ver=3.23.4:2:35822)
        at e.exports.runReadyTrigger (frontend.min.js?ver=3.23.4:2:4247)

I’ve also noticed that this happens when, for example, if someone opens this site for the first time (let’s say home page) and after that that open contact page. In this scenario, map won’t be loaded. But if you refresh the page, map will be loaded, as well as every other time when you open contact page. So the problem is probably loading it for the first time.
