Hello,
I have a problem regarding the site speed https://www.bomboniereroccaro.com/2k18/
On desktop the site is quite fast but on mobile the loading times are very long. I always make the comparison with the production site at the address: http://www.bomboniereroccaro.com (It’s made with IDStore theme)
By running the google test from this page: https://testmysite.withgoogle.com/intl/it-it the production site loads in 3/4 seconds simulating a 3G connection, instead the new site that I’m building (https://www.bomboniereroccaro.com/2k18/) loads after 14 seconds which is too long.
What can cause this long loading time? All tests on GTMetrix, Pingdom, PageSpeed Insights are good. But the test on https://testmysite.withgoogle.com/intl/it-it is bad
Can you please help me solve this problem?
Thanks in advance
Regards
Hello,
Unfortunately, at this moment we don’t have the ready solutions for you. We are working on new theme update (5.0) that will include speed optimization options and improved code. If you don’t want to wait for the update we are ready to give you refund.

Hello Olga,
thanks for reply. This is a serious problem. By now, most people visit websites from the smartphone and then the themes should be mobile first optimized.
Xstore is a great graphic theme but I need, primarily, of the functionality for my business.
I have some questions:
– Latest IDStore version (4.7) is compatible with WordPress 4.9.8, with Woocommerce 3.4.4 and with https protocol?
I must be sure of this, before proceeding with the update of my production site http://www.bomboniereroccaro.com
– I don’t think that 5.0 version of Xstore will arrive soon, so how can I get to have a refund?
I await for a response
Thanks in advance
Best regards

Hello,
thank you very much for your reply.
What is the best sequence to update IDStore?
Is it better to update worpdress first and then the theme?
Is it better to update woocommerce before updating the theme?
Sorry if I ask you these questions but I want to make sure you do not have problems on the site after the updates.
I await for a response

Hello,
Do the backup of the files and DB before the update. Also, do the backup of widgets because sometimes widgets are messed up after the update and you need to re-add them to the widget areas again.
You can update WordPress, then WooCommerce and then – theme. Remove idstore/woocommerce folder before theme update to avoid problem with out of date files from the previous version.
