Hey there,
Been trying for couple of days now to translate the theme in greek with the traditional .po .mo way but I’m keep on failing!
When I go to Localisation backend it shows up a warning message
“Loading Issue: Author is using load_textdomain instead of load_theme_textdomain or load_child_theme_textdomain function. This may break behavior of WordPress, because some filters and actions won’t be executed anymore. Please contact the Author about that.”
Any idea what is going wrong?
Looking forward for your quick reply!
Thanks in advance.
Please bare in mand that I’m using woocomerce plugin
Hello,
To clarify. Did you tried translate like written in in our documentation?
Also is this your first attempt to translate language? https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/legenda/index.html#!/how_to_translate
Regards,
Robert Hall.
To clarify dear friend you should clearly mention in your documentation that your theme DOES NOT cooperates with the most common translation plugin for woocommerce named Codestyling Localization.
Anyway Legenda is a great theme, unlike the style of your reply.
Kind Regards
Hello,
That warning doesn’t affect your site work and translation.
You can find how to translate theme files in our documentation:
https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/#!/0_how_to_translate
So you can work without any worries.
Thank you.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
