    ::Unable to make the promo box work as per your advice::

    I created a Static Block as you advise and entered this shortcode (7766 is obviously the Static Block’a post number) in the text area of the Promo Section of the theme options..

    Then I “Enabled promo popup”.. I still get the default couple staring at me.

    Isn’t this the correct way to do it ?
    I’m very “shy” when it comes to giving people access, this is a live site and I cannot afford people messing it up. So please first tell me if I did things correctly as far as you can understand from my explanation above. It seems pretty simple really.

    Hello,

    As I understood you correctly the static block is displayed on the pop up with the “couple” background, isn’t it?
    To remove the background image you can add this code into custom.css file:
    .white-popup-block { background-image: none; }
    Here you can watch the tutorial how to create custom.css.
    Or you can upload your own image for the background in Theme Options > Promo Popup > Popup background.
    If the issue is still there please provide us with wp-admin panel credentials in Private Content.
