Hard time for beginner: how to start customization?

Hello,
I am new to e-commerce and trying to set a website.
I bought the WooPress theme, but it is much more difficult to customize that I thought (I have a limited experience with WordPress but it was much easier to customize background or titles with other themes).
Where should I start learning about this? The webpage https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/woopress/#!/essential_grid is difficult to understand as I don’t know any coding (CSS, shortcode are foreign words for me).
Do you have a video tutorial on how to set the basic pages of your theme?
