    Hello,

To make site multilanguage, you need to use one of the additional plugins:
    1) WPML(paid) https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/translation-with-wpml/
    2) qTranslate(free)
    2) Polylang(free with paid extra options)

    Regards

    Hello,

We would recommend you to contact WPML support to clarify all the pre-sale questions. We are not plugin developers, so could miss something that would be important for you.

Ok, this is still bugging me, i already have all the website translated using loco translate, witch made the translations from EN (English) to PT(Portuguese), so theoretically what i need is just a way to change back to EN version and to go to the PT version, a flag or language swithcer, cant this be done in the theme so i dont have to go to any more hassle with translations?

    Please let me know.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

Look, if you want to implement 2 or more languages for your site you need an additional plugin that allows you to translate not just theme/plugin hardcoded text like add to cart, return to previous page etc but allows you to translate site content like products, posts, pages and switch between them, manage sales no matter what language use your clients. We mentioned the list of available plugins to implement this or try googling other plugins if you want.
In case you just need to translate your site to 1 other than English language then Loco Translate plugin will be enough.

What i find strange is that wen you are selling your theme you proudly place:
Xstore is Multi-Lingual / RTL Ready!
Super easy to translate ,more than 20 languages available, etc…

And at the end i just want to have the website in 2 languages and it seems this is hard enough, certainly not as advertised and with total lack of support…

I have bought several licenses of your theme, this is the first one i need to have the shop in 2 languages, a bit more help would be something i would expect…

    Thank you

    Hello,

Our theme is RTL ready and includes more than 20 translations https://github.com/OlgaBarlow/Translation-of-Xstore-theme/tree/master/Xstore
You can easy translate theme to any language you need. Use qTranslate or Polylang to create site with 2 or more languages if you don’t plan to buy WPML plugin. If you need any detailed information on how to work with for example Polylang plugin you can always contact plugin author. We are always ready to help you with any questions related to the translation our theme strings, with all the built-in theme options but follow the recommendations. If you want to create site with a few languages at the same time use special plugins for these purposes, like you use WooCommerce to create products.

I have been searching for a plugin that allows translation for the main PT (Portuguese) language and a swicth(flag swithc) to EN (english).
But WPML entry cost says it is not compatible with woocoomerce (i would have to pay 79$), polylang wich you also recomend is not compatible with woocoomerce unless i pay 99$, soo its not easy to choose your recomendations…
I tried Gtranslate but it seems to not be compatible with your theme as i cant even get it to work.

If you can give me a solution compatible with woocoomerce for just this 2 languages with low cost or free i would appreciate please.

    Thank you

    Hello,

Problem with qTranslate could be related to its version, as we can see plugin author did not release new updates too long. So, check the other plugins https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-multilang/ , https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpglobus/ if they will suit your needs.
Our theme is translation ready and it’s 100% compatible with the most popular plugins like WPML and Polylang, but we can’t test our theme with all the available WordPress plugins, hope you understand. Users search additional plugins by themself because every site owner has his own requirements. We are theme developers, we could help you if you face plugin compatibility problem that appears with our theme only but you sure and checked that plugin works fine with the default theme. Then you need to provide us with screenshots that options works fine with the default theme, provide screenshots or video that it does not work with our theme and we’ll do our best to help you.

It seems there is no free option to have theme in multilanguage wen using woocoomerce, it just does not seem to exist, all will charge wen i check for woocoomerce compatibility…

I will leave this for now and launch the website in PT only, will deal with it later on.

    Thanks.
