Hello.
I have been using this theme for a couple of years now without any problems untill now.
I downloaded the new Woopress version 3.2 and as soon as I update the template my site goes blank except for the background image.
I’ve tried installing it from my FTP and from cpanel and does the samething. I have also downloaded the Envato Market plugin and that also does the samething.
I’m have problems with adding single products to cart so I figured it might be the template because the only way I can add products to cart is through quick view and press add to cart. Every plugin is up to date and I’m using a child theme
If you can give me any answers to why this is happening that would be great.
Thanks
Andrew
Hello,
Please try to update theme via FTP https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/woopress/#!/installation_upgrade Before uploading theme files delete “woocommerce” folder, which is located in wp-content/themes/woopress/ to avoid problems with old files (it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package).
Don’t forget to create backup of your files and database before starting update process!
You need to enter your purchase code and SKIP Setup Wizard.
Also, enable debug mode https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress and check if you have any error message on your site.
Let us know result and provide wp-admin access in Private Content.
Regards
Hi Rose thank you for your quick reply.
I have tried the steps you suggested and I still can get it to work so I just restored the site to the backup created today.
The theme installed and won’t work using the child theme. Only the parent theme but my products and the static blocks were not there.
Hello,
Do latest version of theme work when parent theme is activated? If problem relates to child theme you need to check changes that you made there in files.
Please explain the problems with products and static blocks in detail.
Did you see any error notice on site after activate debug mode?
Regards
