Ok so i followed the instructions on how to create a static block for the mega menu dropdowns. I was able to create static blocks for my menu items but when i hover over a menu item (say Mens) and the mega menu static block appears below the menu, when i move my mouse to go to the static block to interact with it, the block will disappear and close before my mouse can get to it. The only way to not have this happen is to move my mouse incredibly fast and even then it only works 1 out of every 3 trys. My menus can not be like this as customers will just give up and leave before they even have a chance to browse around.
I have included login information for an admin account i made for support. Please tell me ANY changes you make to any files at all. Thank you.
Once logged in, please visit the main site or any part of the front end and hover over the main header menu and then try to move into any of the dropdowns and you will see what happens.
Hello,
Add this code in Theme Options > Theme Custom CSS > Custom CSS for desctop:
.et_b_header-menu .menu-item-has-children a:after {content: "";display: block;height: 45px;width: 100%;position: absolute;}
Regards
Thank you! Worked perfectly!!!
One more quick question;
Is there a way to display only ONE variation on the product shop page? For instance 90% of my products have both COLOR variations and SIZE variations, but i do not want to display the size variation on the shop page, only the COLOR variation. Is this possible with the built in swatches of XStore?
If that is NOT possible with the built in swatches of the theme… I do also have a license for Variation Swatches Pro (same dev as the Additional Variation Gallery plugin you guys have listed under Plugins in the theme documentation, Emran something is the devs name). I have a valid license for the pro version of this plugin that i purchased before this theme (or else i wouldn’t have purchased had i known this theme had swatches already), but when i installed it and tried to use it, it was causing double swatches in the product loop, and then i was able to fix that but then i ran into the issue of the filter for colors not displaying color circles and i was having issues with a few things. Is there anything i have to do (CSS or child theme functions.php) to incorprate this pro plugin with the xstore theme swatches??
Interested in the answer on selective swatch display on shop pages myself 😉
Hello,
If you use built-in swatches for both attributes (color and size) there is no option to disable only one of them on the grid. You can disable only both (Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop Elements > Variation swatches > Swatches position > Disable). Or change the type of the size attribute to default select and then the only color will appear on the grid.
If you want to use third-party variation swatches plugin then you need to disable our swatches module at all. I don’t know if your plugin has the swatches filter or not.
