Hi Support,
I’ve bought the theme; installed a prebuilt demo site; installed the child theme.
Under Theme Options I’ve made some changes to the Header Builder – I’ve selected Header number 7 under the Main Configuration panel and made some changes (eg. adding the logo, contact numbers etc).
These changes do show on the left as I’m editing it, BUT when I publish it reverts back to the original XStore’s transparent one.
Theme: Store Child version 1.0
Wordpress 6.2
WP Bakery Page Builder
Please assist. Kind regards

Hi Support,
Forgot to say: when I click on the GREEN “Publish” button at the bottom, it turns into a GREY “Published” – but it never updates the changes made (which still shows on the left preview screen). When I view the actual page, it still shows the original XStore’s landing page not reflecting the changes made in the Customise Theme Options panel.
Kind regards, Q
Hi Rose,
The article link you’ve sent gives three options:
“1/ Maybe a custom header is used, and you need to edit it too. Go to Theme Options > Header Builder > Multiple headers > edit custom header for the Front page.” >>> When I go to Theme Options > Header Builder, there is no heading showing “Multiple headers”?? It only gives me “Header Templates” with a heading stating “Prebuild Headers” – there is NO ‘Multiple headers’ anywhere – maybe this is an old article?
“2/ Try to disable Menu cache and static blocks cache via Theme Options > Speed Optimization.” >>>> Did this, no success.
“3/ Clear the cache of your browser. If you are using a cache plugin or CDN, clear the cache there also.” >>>> Did this, no success.
As mentioned, the prebuilt header templates doesn’t show when I’m publishing.
Please advise.
Q
Hi Support,
I’ve finally allocated where the “multiple header” section is (at the top of the bottom panel on the right where you can edit). I then created a singular-Front page header and made changes.
When I click save & close the theme just keeps showing the rotation timer with the screen dimmed in light grey. This has been going for 10minutes.
I then reinstalled the “Landing” demo – this time NOT opting for the child theme; and repeated the whole process.
And again, the theme doesn’t effect the changes and keeps rotating.
Can someone PLEASE assist, this is very frustrating.
Kind regards

Hi Rose
Thanks, I’ve cleared the cache and are able to make changes on the header.
HOWEVER, the following two problems to be resolved please:
1. When trying to ‘save and close’ the timer just keeps looping indefinitely with a grey overlay on the customiser preview panel..
2. After logging out; clearing cache; disabling all 3rd party plugins; then viewing the site page – the changes made in the Customiser do not show..
This is very frustrating, please help.
Hello, Quentin Cloete,
Thank you for the response.
1/ We’ve checked and it works fine for us on our site. We use Chrome browser.
2/ Please provide an example (record a video, upload it on a filesharing service, and provide the URL of it via the Private Content area), because we can clearly see the new logo image, that we’ve uploaded.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
Hi Rose,
I think the problem was Safari. After switching to Chrome I’m able to make changes. Thank you soo much for your patience and help.
Kind regards
