Good day,
I upgraded to the latest theme and core version and am having lots of issues.:
1) This is the top issue. The “Add To Cart” button is missing form the product page even when I can see in section 3 of the page builder
2) The shop page doesn’t play the categories/subcategories but they are set correctly.
3) When clicking on an item on the main menu, the text overlaps the image and the category link shows Home->Shop->Shop->(Category Name)
Please let me know how I can fix these issues especially the first one!
Thank you for your help!
Hello, Azicard,
Thank you for reaching out and detailing the issues you are experiencing.
1/ We would recommend you disable Catalog mode in Theme Options > Shop > Catalog mode.
2/ Please describe the issue in more detail and provide URLs.
Could you please provide temporary wp-admin access?
To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.
3/ Please try to use code from this topic – https://www.8theme.com/topic/remove-shop-page-from-breadcrumbs/#post-355143

Good day,
Issue 1) I disabled catelog->mode and it doesn’t fix the problem.
Issue 2) When I clicked on the Shop button on the home page, instead of showing the categories, it shows all the products. And the sidebar shows an error “No product category exists!”. But the under Woocommerce->Shop, everything is set to display categories and subcategories.
Please help me to fix issue 1 as quickly as possible as no one can place an order at the moment.
Thank you again for your help!
Hello, Azicard,
1/ Please clear cache and check then. Add to cart is visible on the single product page – https://prnt.sc/Sq3I_YHQXCgG
2/ Can you please switch to WooCommerce default theme – Storefront (Appearance > Themes) in order to check if the issue is restricted to the XStore theme only? Let us know the result.
If the issue persists with the XStore theme only, please provide FTP access.
For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

Hello,
I cleared cache but still can’t see “Add To Cart” button. I tried on two other browsers and none of them showed the button. Please see the attached image.
I also tried on another computer and saw the same thing.
Thank you.
Hello, Azicard,
Here is what we see on your site – https://prnt.sc/5xBJKyAQFdVN – https://customcardcanada.com/shop/ribbons-and-cards/blank-cards/generic-pvc-cards/generic-blank-white-pvc-cards/

Hello,
I switched the theme to Xstore and then switched back. That seems to have fixed the “Add To Cart” button issue but the format is still seems to be wrong. The button is showing right aligned but is set to be left aligned. How can I fix this?
Also, how can I put more space between the product title and the main menu?
Thank you!
Hello,
We appreciate your prompt response.
1/ As we can see, you tried our new single product builder https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/xstore-builders/xstore-single-product-builder-with-elementor/ but did not apply it for products, so currently settings from Theme Options > WooCommerce > Single Product Builder work on your site, for example – https://prnt.sc/1cI9m6k5Vuma
2/ Space can be added via Header Builder https://prnt.sc/YxrkID-8WH0T or via Single Product Builder > Breadcrumbs > https://prnt.sc/_lYhdcrRNxZc
We hope this information is helpful.

Good day,
Thank you for confirming.
1) The location of the button is off. It looks correct in the builder but once I log out, it looks like below.
2) The #3 issue in the original list is still there. I added the short code and was able to remove the second shop link, but the name of the second category still sits on top of the images of the subcategories.
Please let me know how I can fix that.
Thank you!

Hello,
Thank you for the CSS code.
I added it to Theme Custom CSS->Global CSS and cleared cache of the browser, but it’s still showing the text sitting on top of the image.
Thank you.
Hello,
Please disregard the last reply as the text is now showing below the image.
Out of the original 3 issues that I mentioned, only # 2 remains to be a problem. When clicking on the Shop button on the home page, instead of listing the categories, products were listed and side bar showing an error message “No Product Categories exist.”
I did switch to the default theme Storefront and was able to see the categories being listed (ie the correct behavior). However, when I compared the difference between the child theme and the main theme. It appears that the only difference is in email templates.
Please let me know how I can fix this issue.
Thank you.
Hello, Azicard,
We kindly request that you clear all caches (from plugins, server, and CDN). If possible, please consider disabling them temporarily. It appears that changes made to the shop page are not taking effect, which suggests that the page may be loading from cached data or has been replaced.
Furthermore, we have noticed that new widgets are appearing everywhere except on the shop page. To address these issues effectively, could you also provide us with the FTP details?
For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.
Thank you for your attention to these matters.

Good day,
Thank you for fixing the issue!
I notice there was a TEST category added. How can I delete it? I can’t find it under category.
Thank you.
Regarding the TEST category you mentioned, we have already taken care of its removal from the system. You should no longer see it listed under your categories. If there are any other concerns or if the category still appears on your end, please let us know, and we will investigate further.
