Help Adding Social Icons on top to follow us

Hi there, installing your theme (just got a new lic code) for a new client and am trying to add social icons in the top header on top right. I am having a hard time doing so, and have only been able to find the Jetpack widget for social following which isn’t the greatest. That is what is there now and I would like to remove it.

How can I add social icons that open in a new window for people to follow us on social? Thank you!

Hello,

There is no option to add content in top right side area, you can add it in the left side in Appearance > Widgets > Place in header top bar area.

Unfortunately we don’t have “Follow us” icons, only “share” ones. So you have to use some 3rd-party plugins or edit the file wp-content/themes/legenda/framework/shortcodes.php in line 1505 (find the section “! Share This Product”) and change share links to your social accounts, for example, for Facebook link edit the line <a href="http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u='.$permalink.'&images="'.$image.'" target="_blank"><span class="icon-facebook"></span></a> and change url http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u='.$permalink.'&images="'.$image.' to your Facebook account. After that you can use [share] shortcode in text widget in Place in header top bar area.
