Help for xstore mega menu detailed setup steps

Hello,

Having trouble to display the mega menu.

Could you please help by sharing the really detailed steps to setup and display the mega menu ?

I tried to follow the help video and previous topics in the forum but none seem to work.
The help video on megamenu seems not up to date as the “menus location” option is not available in the “menu settings”

On another topic I tried to update the theme from 7.2.4 to the newest and got the following error
Update failed: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

Please let me know if you need more details

Hello,

Thanks for using our theme.
Please check – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/menu-set-up/mega-menu/
Do you use Elementor or WPBakery? Enable your editor for static blocks, then just create the desired menu content via block and select this block for the menu item.
Do not worry about old “menu location” settings, just go to Theme Options > Header builder > Menu element > select menu.

Update to 7.2.4.1version is not obligatory and can be skipped.

Hello,
Thanks for your quick response.
I installed both Elementor and WPBakery.

I don’t see Static blocks under my Dashboard. From my understanding, it should be included in the Xstore core plugin but is missing.

Could you please advise ?

Hello,

You need to use only 1 page editor. If you imported a demo version that uses Elementor, disable WPBakery plugin.
Set these settings for the Elementor – https://prnt.sc/yi93sv
Make sure that static blocks are enabled in Theme Options > General / Layout.
