    Hi there,

I was wondering if I could get some help with regards to ideas / features please.

We are doing our annual stock take / taking a long holiday but we want the website to remain open. However we want to put a notice on the website, perhaps in a pop up form, at every step of the process to make them aware that their orders won’t be processed for x amount of weeks.

Is this possible? I know we can put it at the promo banner, and a notice in the cart / basket areas however I feel this isn’t enough.

So we were thinking the below…
    1. There is a notice on each product under the “add to cart” button.
    2. They would have to accept the terms of not shipping for x amount of week before processing their orders.

Any other ideas welcome. Can you please help?

    Thank you

    Amy

    Hello @fnhc,

    1. There is a notice on each product under the β€œadd to cart” button.

    1. We are pleased to inform you that you can add a notice to the Add to Cart section of the single product page using the Single Product Builder. You can do this by using the Custom HTML widget. Please refer to the screenshot provided for further information: https://postimg.cc/qzvL2np5

    2. They would have to accept the terms of not shipping for x amount of week before processing their orders.

    2. This is not possible as there is no such functionality in our theme, so you can try with any third-party plugin which better meets your requirements but at your own risk.

We hope this information is helpful.

    Thank you for your help.

    1. Is there a way to show a message using Custom HTML widget on a specific category only?

    Thank you

    Hello @fnhc,

If you would like to display a message using a static block on a specific category, please navigate to the Dashboard > Static Blocks > All Static Blocks.

From there, you can copy the shortcode of the specific block and then edit the specific category from the Dashboard > Products > Categories. Paste the shortcode in the Description box and save the settings, please refer to this screenshot: https://postimg.cc/mcTxFH3k

Hi sorry that isn’t what I meant – so similar to what you said in point 1…

“add a notice to the Add to Cart section of the single product page using the Single Product Builder”

Can I add a notice to the add to cart section on a particular category or product only rather than all products?

    Thank you

    Hello @fnhc,

We are pleased to inform you that you can add a notice to the Add to Cart section on a particular category or product only, rather than all products of the single product page, using the Single Product Builder. This can be done by using the Custom HTML widget. Please refer to the screenshot provided for further information.

To apply a template to an individual product or category, please click on β€œMultiple Templates” and create or assign the condition to apply the template to the particular category or product: https://postimg.cc/47S2rsv9

Like these images: https://ibb.co/D9ysV8f , https://postimg.cc/dkwwry5H you can apply that template to the particular product and category of the product and then all the products of that particular category will work on the same layout.

    Kind Regards,
    8Themes Team.
