Hi all, i’m a complete newbie when it comes to WordPress, this is my first attempt at creating an ecommerce site without a hosted solution, but had to bite the bullet!
I have successfully installed the classico theme and recommended plug ins onto woocommerce and activated the theme.
However, as my knowledge is extremely limited I thought the site would mirror the live demo shown on themeforest of classico. I then realised that I had to install the dummy content for this to happen, i have installed base content but their are no changes on the site? It still looks very basic without any content.
If I can get my site to mirror the demo site I think it will give me a good starting point to edit things and figure out what goes where as at the moment i’m in the deep end without armbands on!
here is a link to my current site clothingecommerce.info
If someone could explain steps to get it looking like the classico, victoria demo i’d really appreciate it!
Thanks

Please refrain from logging in for about an hour though as I am having some DNS issues causing my site to my down at the moment that are being resolved.
Hello,
We’re getting “ERROR 504 – GATEWAY TIMEOUT” error on your site.
Please contact your hosting provider support to resolve it.
Also provide us with FTP credentials.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
The site is displaying ok on my side and I have cleared my cache and f5’d so hopefully it’s resolved now, ftp details in private.
Thanks
Hello,
That error appears only when trying to install demo data.
Seems there is lack of some resources on your server.
Ask your hosting provider support to increase values for post_max_size and upload_max_filesize functions.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Thanks Eva
These have now been increased to 64MB the max size?
Hello,
I’ve installed base demo content manually.
Please check your site now.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Hello, that’s fantastic, thank you very much.
One final question, how do I Implement the drop down catagories with the image in the middle, as shown on the demo?
When I add categories does this automatically order them like that?
Once again, thank you.
Hello,
Could you please show on a screenshot what section exactly you mean?
Thank you.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Yes, please see attached screengrab of the drop down product catagories with the image in there.
Link is in private to image, however what I mean is when you hover over ‘Shop’ in the main navigation and the product catagories box appears with the model image inbetween the catagories.

Hello, i’m creating a website in local host,
i would like to download the dummy data of eleonera version.0
can you help me please ?
Hello @alhou,
If you want to import a template manually using .xml file you need find the needed file in the theme package in “XML files” folder. Inside of it you’ll see the folder “Versions”. To import .xml file go to wp-admin panel Tools > Import > WordPress > upload chosen xml file, press “Upload File” and import. Check “Download and import file attachments” and press Submit button.
The page will appear in Pages section.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
