Help setting up forum side panel

Hi again,

I know this is not part of your theme, but I have followed all the instructions from bbpress and bb tweaks to set up the sidebar and it’s not working.

I installed bb press for the forum, that is set up fine, but the forum uses the right or main sidebar from the page.php file.

I copied that and renamed it forums.php and installed bb tweaks to set the forums page to the new file, but it still uses the main sidebar

Can you assist in setting the sidebar to the bbpress sidebar so I can use their custom widgets?

Do I need to change a line of code to use the sidebar-bbpress. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just figured it out.

followed these instructions:

Created a page, with the slug “forums” and changed the sidebar there.
