    Dear All,
I’ve enabled the option in Woocommerce to prevent unavailable products from appearing, but they still appear to me with the possibility of making a reservation, but if I try to add them to the cart, it isn’t possibile.

How can I hide the out off stock item?

    Hello, @C18_IT,

To hide out-of-stock items completely from your WooCommerce store, you can use a combination of settings and. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to achieve this:

    1. WooCommerce Settings:
First, make sure you have configured the basic settings related to stock management in WooCommerce. To do this, go to your WordPress admin dashboard and navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory.

    a. Enable “Manage stock” option: Check the box next to “Manage stock” to activate stock management for your products.
    b. Enable “Stock status options”: Under the “Stock status options” section, ensure you have selected the appropriate settings for “Out of stock visibility”:

“Hide out of stock items from the catalog” – This option should be selected to prevent out-of-stock products from appearing on your shop pages.

    2. Update Product Stock Status:
After ensuring the above settings are configured, you need to update the stock status of your products. To do this for each product:

    a. Go to your WordPress admin dashboard.
    b. Navigate to Products > All Products.
    c. Find the product you want to update and click on “Edit” below the product title.
    d. In the Product Data section, click on the “Inventory” tab.
    e. Update the “Stock status” to either “In stock” or “Out of stock” based on the current availability of the product.
    f. Click the “Update” button to save your changes.

Repeat these steps for each product that has a stock status that needs to be updated.

    Dear Team,
    Thank you for your suggestion.
I was pretty sure that within the theme you could tell if the product is at 0 then don’t display it.

Basically, manual modification is not applicable as there are more than 32,000 items with dynamic updating every 30 minutes based on warehouse availability.

    Dear, C18_IT,

    Thank you for your response.

Please check how it works when the default WooCommerce theme – Storefront is activated on the site.
If you get the same behavior, you need to contact WooCommerce support, because the situation is independent of our theme – https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team
