Hello.
How can I download an earlier version of the theme, for example Version 9.1 / Core plugin 5.1. My site is not working properly with the latest 9.1.2
Hello, Micke,
Thank you for getting in touch with us.
We are here to help you. Please describe the problem in more detail, and provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access.
To provide wp-admin access, you can create a new user account with administrator role via the Dashboard, and provide us with the username and password via the Private Content area.
To create FTP access, please contact your hosting provider for assistance.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
All my setting are gone efter the latest update, no menu and i have to do all my setting again. That’s the main problem.
Hello, Micke,
The update does not remove settings.
Did you use the child theme before the update and now the parent theme is activated?
Your site is under maintenance mode, so we can’t check it without access.
We can provide the oldest version, but we would like to help you solve the current situation.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
All settings disappeared after the crash and I installed the new version 9.1.2, no child theme used.
Hello, Micke,
Before every update we recorded creating backup https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/
Please contact your hosting provider and ask maybe regular backups were done from their side.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
Thanks for very fast support. Yes, we do several backups per day, but where do I find the settings that I will transfer to the new theme?
Hello, Micke,
Have all settings related to the menu/header been lost only or settings for something else, like the footer also?
You can find the content from the header builder in the backup of the database in the wp_options table.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
All settings are gone, maybe I can activate the back up with the older version 9.1.1 and export the settings from there then?
Hello, Micke,
At first sight, something is wrong with the database.
We would recommend you create a test site and upload the backup there first, check if all is fine there.
Kind Regards,
8theme team
