    Hello, Catholicans,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

As we can see, you are editing the page right now, so we can’t check your settings.
The image element has the next option – https://prnt.sc/aVsV7PEvY_Wy Is this what you are looking for?

    Kind Regards,

    Hello, Catholicans,

It is the default WPBakery option whose functionality is independent of our theme. We’ve checked on our test site and the option works fine, it means something on your site causes the problem. It can be a 3rd party plugin, so try to disable plugins one by one and test.

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team

    Hello, Catholicans,

When we try another image it works. Please check the Private Content area.

The zoom effect shows the real size of images. You need to upload images with bigger dimensions.

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team

    Please contact administrator

Images with higher dimensions are unsuitable for this section. Could you recommend an alternative approach to address this issue?

    Hello, Catholicans,

It is no theme bug but the default functionality of WPBakery. You are editing Home page right now, so we can’t do tests there, but with our demo image on our test site the hover zoom works fine – https://gyazo.com/af858f5f173adddf800bebb1e6afa436 , here is the size of image https://prnt.sc/frrUuOugyd0z and layout structure – https://prnt.sc/-0jBkNPDmIa1
Depending on your desired result, you can use other elements of WPBakery, or even enable Massive Addons plugin and use more elements, for example – https://massive.mpcthemes.net/single-image/

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team
