How can I remove sub categories in product categories list widget?

Hi,
I want to remove sub categories in product categories list widget from xstore.
I want only parent categories will appear.
I attached an image to describe what I mean.

We understand that you wish to remove subcategories in the product categories widget on your shop page. Please follow the steps below to achieve this:

1. Navigate to XStore.
2. Select Widgets.
3. Proceed to the Shop sidebar widget area.
4. Edit the product categories widget.
5. Select the option ‘Only show children of the current category’.
6. Save your settings.
7. Check your site again to confirm the changes.

Hi,
I did it and it changed the sidebar categories but I want to change the top product categories lists on my shop page…
Please can you help me to do it?

please see the image I attached in the previous reply, it’s not the shop sidebar its ‘product categories lists’ widget in Elementor from xStore.

If you are utilizing the XStore Product Categories list widget in Elementor and desire to display only the parent categories, kindly follow the steps below:

1. Navigate to the Product Categories List Widget.
2. Proceed to Content > General > Limit Of Subcategories.
3. Set the value to a negative number and click on ‘Update’.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Currently, there is no option available in the Product Categories List Widget to remove the sub-categories. However, we encourage you to post your request on our Taskboard at https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/. If your request garners sufficient votes from other customers, our development team will consider incorporating this feature in one of our future updates.

In the meantime, to address your concern, you may use the CSS code provided below. Please copy and paste this code into the ‘Custom CSS’ section, which can be found under ‘Advanced’ in the ‘Product Categories List Widget’ on Elementor. This should remove the sub-categories from the Product Categories List Widget.
