How can I switch the search bar from the cart tothe current one on the home pg?

I would greatly prefer that my home page search function was replaced by the one you see on the cart page. It’s a much cleaner way to search for products on the site.

Here’s a short video explaining in detail what I would like to do.

How can I make that switch in step by step detail please?

Hello,

Search form on the Cart page is a search widget from Main Sidebar widget area that is located in Appearance > Widgets. You can remove it from theme.
If you have the code for your search form you can add it in Text widget and drag it to the “Main Sidebar” area.
