Hi guys
I would like the same sidebar to be displayed on searchresultws, which I also have on product-listing pages.
AKA I want .e.g option to filter on search-results.
How do I achieve that?
Thanks
Peter

Hello,
You need add widgets into “Main Sidebar” area in Appearance > Widgets.

Eva Kemp.
But that did not answer my question? I do not want to display the same sidebar on all pages. I want to display a different sidebar on the search-page. Which makes sense to display like customer service-section + chat + phonenumber…?
Hello,
Unfortunately there is no such option and it can’t be implemented.
Please take our apologies.

Eva Kemp.
Hi again
Ok, so I added same product filter widget as on the shop-pages into the Main-widget.
But its not working. The sidebar is still empty…

HI there.
Any news on this one? It is cruzial for the customer that he gets sorting-abilites in the side-panel on product-searches.
Thanks
Peter
Hello,
The problem was caused by “WooCommerce Product Filter” plugin. I’ve deactivated it and added “Woocommerce Product Categories” widget into “Main Sidebar” category and it’s shown on search result page.
Please check.

Hi there.
There is still no filter-bar or alike in the sidebar on search pages…?
Also the developer of the product-filter-plug-in said that it is the theme settings that keep the product filter plug-in to be displayed on product-search pages.
Thanks
Peter
Hello,
If you remove Product Filter widget from “Shop Sidebar” area in Appearance > Widgets, you’ll see sidebar is shown on search results pages. Try to use Woocommerce default widgets instead of this plugin.
Thank you.

Eva Kemp.
Hi Eva. But the plugin works perfectly on product-pages? I have no intention of NOT using it on product filter widget, as it took me months to setup the filtering.
I spoke with the developer who told me that it is a theme-issue that the plug-in is not displayed on search-result pages?
Thanks
Peter
