How to add a custom data source to Post Grid

Hi,

I want to add a custom data source to the post grid in wp bakery, i need to query the wordpress popular posts plugin and display trending and popular posts in different places, it seems like custom data source is the ideal way because it will use my post template but maybe there is an alternative?

Any help appreciated

Hi,

Thanks for the response, it does seem to show the list, so if i wanted to add a source to it i would need to be a custom post type?
