How to add extra product options in single product page.

How can I add an extra product option in single product page so user can add data (text) in a required text field before checkout to personalize the order.
I already tried different plug-ins (e.g. Booster for WooCommerce). The field shows up perfect but there is an issue withe the theme I think. It won’t allow to add the product to cart no matter if the field ist filled out or not.

I don’ know how to solve this!

Hello,

You can also try Product Addons plugins, for example, https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-product-addon/ or https://woocommerce.com/products/product-add-ons/
But no matter what plugin for the extra options you use you need to disable Ajax Add to cart in theme options (Theme Options > Single Product) because these plugins use POST method while adding to cart. So, try the current plugin that you have and disable this option. Let me know about results.
