    Hi Tony,

    Thanks for your response.

This solution only works “per category” which means I would need to add to each category individually.
Is there a way to set it globally? So it applies to all categories all at once?

    Thank you very much!

    Hello, @Ebrahim,

    Thank you for your response.

To accomplish the specific result you are seeking, we kindly suggest utilizing the XStore Builder in conjunction with the Product Archive Builder feature available through Elementor. This approach will allow you to craft a custom layout tailored to your preferences.

Please proceed by setting the appropriate conditions for ‘Product Categories’ and ensure to save your updates. For your convenience, we have provided a visual reference which can be accessed via the following link: https://imgur.com/WytczWK

Additionally, we encourage you to consult our comprehensive theme documentation for further assistance. It is our hope that this resource will prove invaluable in resolving your query. https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/xstore-builders/xstore-products-archive-builder-with-elementor/

Should you require any further support, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

    Hello Tony,

    Thanks for your response.

I tried creating a custom archive with the Elementor template as you suggested, but the “product grid” widget was not displaying correctly when the Data Source is set to “current query”.
Hopefully the devs can fix this problem in the coming updates.

Instead, I used a PHP hook to achieve my desired result.
You can find the screenshot of the code attached in this message.
I thought I’d share the workaround I found, in case any other customer is facing the same issue.

Thank you very much for your support.

    Hello, @Ebrahim,

Thank you for sharing your workaround and for your patience in resolving the issue with the product grid widget in Elementor. Your proactive approach and willingness to share your solution are greatly appreciated.

Regarding the use of the “Current Query” option, it’s important to note that this feature is specifically designed for product archive templates and may not function as expected on non-product archive pages such as Home, About Us, or Contact Us.

Your PHP hook solution sounds like a solid workaround, and it’s great that you were able to achieve your desired result. If you have any further questions or need assistance with anything else, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help!

    Hi Tony,

It’s my pleasure to share the solution.

Just to let you know, I did use a product archive template for the “current query”.

    Many thanks.
