    Hello,
after the theme has been updated to version 9.2.6, I realize that I have lost the translations that were at the path /wp-content/themes/xstore/languages/
the 2 files are no longer present: “it_IT.po” and “it_IT.mo”.

Can you activate these translations to the child theme, so that after the updates, the translations will always remain?
if yes, to which path do I insert the files? and do I have to add a string to invoke the translations in the function.php file (in the child theme)?

    many thanks

    Hello, DEVELOWEB,

Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.

Translation files of the theme should be placed in /wp-content/languages/themes/ folder,
plugins, like Core plugin, in /wp-content/languages/plugins folder, with correct names, for example, for XStore theme: xstore-it_IT.po, and xstore-core-it_IT.po for XStore Core plugin, then you will not lose translation after the update.

We would recommend doing a backup of all the files before any update.
Some hosting providers do regular backups for customers.

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team

    Hello, DEVELOWEB,

    We appreciate your prompt response.

Translation files of the theme should be placed in /wp-content/languages/themes/ folder, not in https://prnt.sc/LAiScE4Sh8d6

    Kind Regards,
    8theme team
