How to assign sidebar menu per product category

I am trying to assign a shop menu that changes for each product category selected.

Example is the main shop page would have all of the product categories in the sidebar.
When I choose category 1, the sidebar menu will change to category 1 sub categories.
If I choose category 2, the sidebar menu will change to category 2 sub categories.
