How do you change the default footer on the theme, currently it has all the woopress info and I need to switch that over to my info.
Also I cant seem to figure out how to remove the left side bar? I went into visual composer but couldn’t remove it there, so I tried Appearance>Widgets and removed all the widgets from the left side bar and yet the “search” ability still remains. Also relating to the problem above, footer 1 and footer 2 were here so I edited footer 1 and it just added a footer on top of the default footer?
Help would be greatly appreciated – Thanks
Hello WordPressed,
1) as footer demo content can not be edited, you need to create your own footer according this article of theme documentation:
https://8theme.com/demo/docs/woopress/index.html#!/0_footer
You may use this video tutorial as well:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWAQRXZXsaw
It is created for Royal theme but process is the same.
2) please specify – do you want to completely remove sidebar and for which pages?
Regards,
Stan Russell.
Yes, I want to completely remove the side bar on all pages
Hello,
To remove sidebar on pages you need edit each page in WP Dashboard and select “Without Sidebar” for “Sidebar Position” field in Page Layout box on the right side of the editor.
