How to enable promo popup on xstore…..

Hi guys. How can i enable this feature to show a promo popup on the mainpage of my website? Since it’s black friday i want to show visitors about my promo sale using a popup when they landed on the main page?

Hello,

Theme options > Header builder > add Newsletter element into the header content

hi guys, can you explain the parameters on newsletter

Delay MS (If i set this at 500 does the popup shows quickly?

Close Forever
Close till the clearing of the browser cookies (i tried enabling this but the popup doesnt show anymore)

There are 1000 milliseconds in a second.

i tried enabling this but the popup doesn’t show anymore

– try to check via an incognito browser window, or clear browser cookies and check then.

Ok now it’s working on my chrome.

I find it weird since every pages on my site shows the popup everytime it loads. How to make it just show on the mainpage only?

Also. the popup can be edited on tablet and mobile mode?

Hello,

There is no option to enable the popup for Home page only. However, you can try to use Multiple headers functionality, to create a custom header for the Home page that contains the Newsletter element.

Try to use the next custom CSS code:
```
@media only screen and (max-width: 768px) {
    .header-newsletter-popup .et-popup {
        max-width: 90% !important;
        width: 90% !important;
        max-height: 90% !important;
        height: 90% !important;

    }
}
```

Thanks. I’ll check the video. I will be needing this popup for mainpage in the next months for promo… This would help a lot.

I tried putting the CSS code to the theme custom css global. Now the popup on mobile doesnt show. 😀

Hi Rose,

Set up the second header (front page / singular)
So this means this will only show on frontpage.
When the promo is done i just need to delete the newsletter on the header right?

Yes, there is no such option. You can submit a request here – https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/
Or add the Newsletter element into the desktop header content, Newsletter On > On delay, then it will be shown on desktop and on mobile.

Otherwise, please share your site wp-admin URL and access in the private content area of this topic by following the below-given format

WORDPRESS ADMIN URL:
WORDPRESS ADMIN USERNAME:
WORDPRESS ADMIN PASSWORD:

So that I will check your issue on your site.

Note: Please take a complete backup of your site first and allow us to debug your site and change/remove the plugins.

Hi Tony,

There was an option for promo popup to show on mobile/table before?
it was working before when i tried to make one months ago. Can you check this please?

Since my promo ended. i would like to have this fix so i can make a new one.
the promo popup i made was only working on desktop. Not working on any mobile devices not sure why.

yeah i found it. i made a newsletter popup months ago and it worked on desktop and mobile but the last one didn’t worked. can you check this for me please so i can make another promo this month. lots of users are using mobile on my website

Sorry for the late response. Last promo i made this was added on the header. This works on desktop but it didnt work on mobile/tablet when i made a campaign. Just want to clarify. I did made this months ago as well and it works but the last time i did it mobile/tablet promo popup wasnt working.

We’ve disabled Mobile Content Optimization (Theme Options > General) and now the Newsletter works on Mobile.
We recommend that you clear the cache of your mobile browser and check again.
