Hello again,
BTW we love the theme! We have not managed to put all the information we like into the footer. For example, how could we put all the (German) WooCommerce topics, like shipping, payments, etc. into it? Or Logos? We just could not find the way to do it.
Thank you again so much!
Susanne
Hello,
Please provide us with wp-admin panel credentials in Private Content.
Also please show us screenshots what you’d like to achieve.
Thank you.

please help me!
I’m trying to customize the footer area and I don’t have any idea of where it is. I need to maintain the same format, but I dont find where to change those texts and the logo, for example. I’m at following the documentation but there is nothing at the static blocks or widgets with the content that I’m seeing on the site. please, please, help me!
thankks…
Hello @jucamillo,
You need import footer file from theme package > “XML Files” folder > “Footer Variants” folder. Next, go to Tools > Import > WordPress > upload chosen xml file, press “Upload File and import”. Check “Download and import file attachments” and press Submit button.
The footer block will appear in Static Blocks section. You need add Static Block widget into “Footer” area in Appearance > Widgets.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
I’m with the theme package open here and there are no xml files folder and nothing in .xml at all.
The theme is already with the footer that I want, I just want to change the information, where can I find the columns of the theme?
please, open my website and help me? =/
i’m having too much problems with that theme, why it isn’t easier or better documented to do those things?
Hello @jucamillo,
My fault, please take my apologies.
You’re using Woopress theme, not Classico (you’ve written your post in the topic for Classico theme).
To edit footer you need recreate it as described in the documentation:
https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/woopress/#!/0_footer (read about Second Footer row).
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
sorry, about that mistake.
but now I have all the footer in a same column, can you please say to me what is wrong?
ps. see the website to understand
tks
Hello @jucamillo,
You’re using old theme and plugins versions. Please update them.
Don’t forget to make backup site before update.
Here is video tutorial how to update theme:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdWESIIPU1k
The video tutorial is for Legenda theme, but the process is identical.
You can download the latest plugins versions at this link https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ ,
enter your purchase code of the theme to get the plugins.
Regards,
Robert Hall.
Hello @jucamillo,
I’ve recreated your footer. Please clear browser cache and check it now.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
ohhhhhh thank you sooo muuch!
🙂
i need to update the theme and plugins yet?
If there are currently no problems with the website, you can not update. If you’ll see any problems in the future work, then please update.

Robert Hall.
ok, that’s great!
thank you a lot!
i need to translate the button add to cart, but i cant find it at the .po file, can you help me?
Hello,
Please provide us with FTP credentials.
Thank you.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
hi, the sftp account is here in private content
i need the translation to portuguese-br
thaaank you a lot
Hello,
As I see there are no translation files for the language you need in the directory wp-content/themes/woopress/languages, only for ru translation.
Please read our documentation attentively how to translate the theme:
https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/woopress/#!/2_how_to_translate .
Thank you.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
I was doing the translation file, but i search for the word add to cart and cant find it, so i stopped.
where is add to cart expression?
Hello,
‘Add to cart’ expression can be translated with woocommerce translation: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-localization/
or by editing functions.php: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/change-add-to-cart-button-text/
In this case we recommend you to do it only in child theme: https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
Regards,
Stan Russell.
thank you, now it works!
i’m with another question: how to add the big hover information with images at the menu?
thank you a lot!
another important question: I want to view my products on shop page and cattegory pages as it is visible at here: https://www.8theme.com/demo/woopress/fullwidth/product-category/albums/?sb=0&cols=4 with the 4 columns grid, I’ve already did all the things the documentation says to format essential grid, but dont know how to procede… another question about the shopping is what if i want to put some banners at my principal shopping page, like the home, can i do it?…. another question: i want to put a describer text and video (with vimeo or yotube) on the top of my cattegory page, can i do it?
sorry, but it’s very hard to find some answers…
thank you!!!
Hello,
I’ve set Full width layout for your Shop page in Theme Options > Products Page Layout > Layout and set 4 “Products per row”. Please check your Shop page now.
You can add content to Shop page in WP Dashboard > Pages > edit your Shop page (please note the content will be displayed above the products).
You can add any content to products category in WP Dashboard > Products > Categories > edit a category and add your content to “Category Header” section.
Please show on a screenshot what you want add to the menu.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Hi, really really thanks.
With the menu I want to do something like that:
I tried to put some content at the header of ‘bebidas’ cattegory product but it is not seeing at the ‘bebidas’ page, am I doing something wrong?
another question: I cant put any content before the products at cattegory product and shop page?
Thank you a lot, I’ll definitely work with your themes again, you are great supporters!
another wuestion:
i set a banner to the shopping page, can I change the banner at each cattegory?
thaaank you!
🙂
Hello,
In our documentation you can read how to create full width drop down menu and add image in there:
https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/woopress/#!/primary_menu
To make your content shown on product categories pages add this code in custom.css file:
.category-description {
display: block !important;
}
How to create custom.css you can watch in this tutorial (it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).
You can add code with path to your banner for each category in Products > Categories > edit a category > Category Header.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
