How to Improve Site Speed and Performance

Hi there,
I recently hired a professional to improve the site speed, and they tried various plugins, like WP rocket and 10web booster but they caused issues on the site in other ways like messing up the footer and stopping the countdown etc.
Here is my performance score, its only 33 mobile and 55 for desktop. What is your advice for ways to improve the site speed for the XStore theme that wont stop things functioning. https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-empathemporium-com/asencqcrdw?form_factor=mobile

General site speed depends on many factors – https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/troubleshooting/how-to-speed-up-my-website/ , not just on the theme, but on your server settings, images you use, third-party plugins you use, etc.
Google Pagespeed always scores 20-50 points for mobile performance for 99% of websites built with WordPress.
We suggest that you follow the instructions provided by Google PageSpeed Insights, for example – https://prnt.sc/R8cl_3u8sH4T
Eliminate render-blocking resources – you may try solutions described here https://onlinemediamasters.com/eliminate-render-blocking-resources-wordpress/
Reduce initial server response time – contact your hosting provider, because it is server-side.
