How to include second menu for shop pages

I wish to add a second menu to the shop pages to include sub-categories and remove the side menu

Hello,

You can create custom widget area https://qodeinteractive.com/magazine/add-widget-area-to-wordpress/ and customize your child theme to display it on the shop page in that place. After that you can use Static block with the menu element to display the categories you need in that area using Static block widget.
