How to install demo data? - by toolbox - on WordPress WooCommerce support

Hello,

I’ve downloaded the 204mb Legenda zip file, unzipped it, and I see a bunch of demo data, and the Legenda_v2.1.zip file. I successfully installed the theme, but what do I need to do to get this demo data installed? I’ve scoured your website up and down for instructions on this, and cannot find any. The documentation for the Legend template says that there a User Guide Documentation.html file should be included, but it is not.

Please help asap.

If you still have issues, please provide us with the login details to admin panel in Private Content.

First of all, there is no file named Legenda_WordPress_Theme.zip. Only Legenda_v2.1.zip. And When I click on Theme Options –> Import/Export, and select Corporate, it does not say Install Demo Data, it only says Update Options. I suspect this is because the demo data has not been uploaded to the server, and these instructions do not explain how to do that. :/

Hello,

Have you updated the old theme or installed a clean new theme? If it says “Update Options” then you have already installed demo content and you can just update your theme options (colors, header, footer, typography).

If you still need help, please provide us with the access to admin panel and FTP in Private Content.

Still eagerly hoping to find a solution for this. The demo content was definitely not installed when the theme was installed. Updating the options simply changes some basic layouts. No posts, slideshows, menu, or shop items exist. Hoping to use that demo data to help get my site launched asap this week. Thanks.

Hello,

Please try to import Legenda_demo_data.xml file which is located in your archive folder with the theme. Go to Tools > Import > WordPress > upload chosen Legenda_demo_data.xml file, press Upload File and import
– Check Download and import file attachments and press Submit button.

Let us know if the problem is still there.

Hello,

If you want the site to be displayed as on the corporate demo, then you should choose “Corporate” in Theme Options > Import/Export and not “E-Commerce” from the dropdown menu.
I advise you to reinstall WP and install the new clear theme.
