    Hello, Goostaf,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your inquiry.

Please try to use “Promo Text” element > Close button > On, in Theme Options > Header Builder.

    Best Regards,

If this is not possible, then maybe Global blocks will solve the issue, although I do not understand how to make a block correctly, we want something like this

    Hello, @Goostaf,

We are contacting you to advise on the addition of a top panel to your website. We recommend utilizing the Global Sections available in the Theme Options for this purpose.

Please follow these steps to add the Global Section:
    1. Navigate to Xstore > Theme Options > Global Sections.
    2. Click on “Add the Section.”
    3. Set the Position to “Before Header.”
    4. Select the desired content.
    5. Click “Publish” to save the changes.

Unfortunately the closing action by clicking on the icon is not possible to achieve yet. If you are planning to have such functionality you need to request for additional customization (https://www.8theme.com/account/#etheme_customization_panel) or find a plugin where such feature exists.

We trust this information will be useful to you. Should you require any further assistance or have additional inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Best regards,

I understood, we will use Global Sections then, but we can’t make the same narrow strip as you have in the example, what are we doing wrong?

    Dear @Goostaf,

I hope this message finds you well. We kindly request that you adjust the paddings and margins of the columns in the editor. For your reference, please see the current settings here: https://prnt.sc/H5LJnA95jZfx.

We have observed that setting the paddings to 0 on each column containing content yields the following result: https://prnt.sc/3EHed0AMk4QH. We believe adjusting these settings will enhance the layout’s effectiveness.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. Should you need any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Alas, I can’t do it, I put the text and the block gets big anyway, maybe you have a template somewhere ready for this block?

    Dear @Goostaf,

I hope this message finds you well.

Upon reviewing the static block you are currently developing, we observed that the padding settings for Columns have not been configured as previously recommended. You can view the suggested settings here: https://prnt.sc/iG1hJBB6uxzA. However, we have adjusted the padding values to zero for each Column area, which should now reflect the results you anticipated. Please review the updated configuration at your earliest convenience: https://prnt.sc/DrKn9s-Ennt8.

Additionally, we would like to gently remind you that as stated in our prior communications, any additional customization, including modifications to padding or margins in your custom sections, falls outside the scope of our support services.

Thank you for your attention to these details. Should you have any further questions or require assistance with the standard features, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    Best Regards,
