I’m using xstore and the organic theme. I love the niche theme I selected and have been customizing. I will be importing an entire woocommerce store from another website and want to remove ALL demo image and text content associated with the theme. Please direct me to resources showing how to do this. NOTE: Below this thread I was requested to enter the “Theme version” it wouldn’t let me enter anything so I put Royal, clearly i’m not using Royal.

    Hello,

If you don’t want to reset theme options then the only way to remove the demo content is manually deleting the images from the Media, products from the Products etc. If you want to reset also theme options then you can use DataBase reset plugin.

    Regards

If I do manually remove images how will this affect my importing a full store from another site? I assume the import will populate their own product posts/pages not affecting the demo content at all. is this correct? Or does it overwrite demo content?

    Hello,

If you import content you’ll get it in addition to existing. Import does not overwrite the content you already have.
Anyway, don’t forget to make a full backup of files and DB before any manipulations.

Ahh, ok. So I can go ahead and remove all demo content entirely. But what about the product page structure the theme is using? Will it disappear? I’d just like to use the product page structure but have no content as my import has all content needed.

    Hello,

Sorry, but your question is a bit unclear for me.
Settings of the Single product page layout come from Theme Options > WooCommerce > Single product.

    Regards
