    Hello,

How to remove the HTLM code that appear before the description on some of the products listings when I attempt to share them.

Also on some listings sometimes the product link didn’t show when you share.

I marked in red what I mean on the screenshots.

    Thanks very much

    Hello, Elhadj07,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your query.

Use an SEO plugin to add the necessary OG image and OG description for your pages, posts, and products. Try for example Yoast SEO plugin.

Please remember to clear the Facebook cache for any products or pages that have been previously shared. You can do so by using the following link: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/sharing/

Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Rose,

I am using rank math seo plugin. So what I mentioned and showed on the screenshots is not an issue then and can be just be fixed by implementing what you mentioned here ?

    Thanks very much!

    Hi again Rose,

1 – The issue I mentioned only happens on some listings not all. For example on this listing when I share the issue isn’t visible ( [Deleted] )

On this listing the issue is visible ( [Deleted] ).

Also does happens not only when I share on Facebook but WhatsApp, mail, X and other socials as well.

2 – I also noticed on the single product page there is no product showing at the (YOU MAY LIKE ) section.

    Please find attached screenshots.

    Thanks very much!

    Hi @Elhadj07,

    1. The short description of product doesn’t allow any HTML codes. In this case, please remove the p tags from the short description: https://prnt.sc/xhKh74VFYZIh. So the short description should be like this:

Elevate your organization with our That Girl Life Planner Notion Template in Aesthetic Blue. This versatile planner combines personal and professional management tools, including goal setting, travel planning, finance tracking, and wellness monitoring. Benefit from an effortless setup with clear written instructions and video demos. Perfect for those seeking stylish and effective life organization.

    2. The Products element is deprecated, we suggest you to switch to the Related Products element instead: https://prnt.sc/9xLrzD8ENLVq.

    Kind Regards,

Where do I need to go to first then switch to related products element?

    Thanks very much

    Hi Luca,

Thanks very much for the support.

I switched to related products now. However, some of the settings changed the add to cart buttons we removed previously as visible again. How can I remove them?

2 – Also on mobile the layout changed how can I fix that again?

    Please find attached screenshots.

    Thanks very much

    Dear @Elhadj07,

We hope this message finds you well.

We are currently facing an issue where the custom CSS code intended to hide the “Add to Cart” buttons is not appearing on the front-end. For your reference, here is a screenshot of the issue: https://prnt.sc/CT0qM0e2Umr3.

Additionally, we have noticed that the styles on the single product page are disrupted. Please see the screenshot for a detailed view: https://prnt.sc/t5akkWaxbNcp.

Could you kindly assist us by completely disabling all cache plugins and then rechecking the aforementioned issues?

Thank you for your attention to this matter. We look forward to your prompt response.

    Hi Luca,

I did the updates but I still have the warning message for dashboard.php.

There was no header.php and content-product.php on the child theme so I copied from parent theme and pasted into child theme. I hope I did it the right way. Could you please have a look.

    Pleads find attached screenshots.

    Hi @Elhadj07,

Please don’t copy the template files which you didn’t modify to child theme. Please revert back.

The dashboard file is good now: https://prnt.sc/jbtWfiwJiml6

    Can you check again?

    Thank you!

    Hi Luca,

There was no header.php and content-product.php on the child theme so that’s why I copied from parent theme and pasted into child theme. Or that’s not how it should be done?

Could you please have a look at my site if it’s look good the way I did or I should remove ?

I followed the instructions as there was no header.php and content-product.php into the child theme so I asked chatgpt and it directed me that way to copy from parent theme and paste into the child theme.

    Thanks very much

Please give us a reason why you copied those files to child theme? Do you want to edit something?

    Thank you!

    Hi Luca,

I was confused on what I should do. So I asked copied the instructions from my dashboard and asked chatgpt. ( please see the screenshot).

And chatgpt directed me on what I should do.

After I copied header.php and content-product.php into child theme the warning was gone for these.

Now, if that’s not the correct way to do or if I shouldn’t add the header.php and content-product.php into child theme then you can let me know I will remove them. I am not very good at this so I was just following the instruction to remove the warning regarding the outdated files.

Also if these types of updates can be done automatically that would help better then doing manually.

    Thanks very much

    Hi Luca,

I didn’t modify them so I have deleted them now from the child theme.

How can I enable the reviews on the product page for the new listings without actual reviews.

On the dashboard I have ticked the box for reviews to display but nothing showing for new listings.

Also on Google search console i have recommendations for that as it’s missing on my new products listings.

I have attached images for your reference.

    Thanks very much

It seem that product doesn’t have any reviews yet.

Can you please try adding sample reviews and check again?
