    I hope you’re doing well.

    I’m reaching out for support regarding issues I’m experiencing with the XStore theme on my website, lambock.com. I’ve been using the XStore theme for the past two years and recently purchased support to help address some ongoing performance and functionality concerns.

    Despite following the instructions provided in the documentation to disable the site preloader and lazy loading effect, I’m still encountering issues with both features:

    Preloader Issue: I disabled the “Site Preloader” option under Theme Options > General, as instructed. However, the preloader continues to appear as it did before, and the change does not seem to take effect.

    Lazy Loading Issue: I followed the steps to disable lazy loading by accessing the element settings in Elementor and turning off the “Lazy Loading” option in the XStore Ajaxify settings. Unfortunately, images still load slowly, and lazy loading remains active.

    Could you please help me resolve these issues? Additionally, I would appreciate guidance on the following:

    Element Loading: How can I ensure all elements on the site load quickly without unnecessary delays?

    Page Speed: What best practices can I follow to improve page speed, and are there any specific XStore settings I should adjust?

    Image Optimization: Can you provide tips on optimizing images for better performance, particularly within the XStore theme?

    Your assistance in addressing these issues and optimizing my site for better performance would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to your guidance.

    Thank you in advance for your support.

    Hello, 4NOdes,

    Thank you for reaching out to us and for being a valued user of the XStore theme. We hope this message finds you well.

    We sincerely appreciate your detailed explanation of the issues you are experiencing with the preloader and lazy loading features, as well as your interest in optimizing your website’s performance. We are here to assist you.

    Please update the theme and Core plugin https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/ https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/plugins-update/ Clear cache after that.

    To remove the loading effect on Elementor widgets and show them at once, the next custom CSS code can be used:

    body:not([data-elementor-device-mode]) {
        --etheme-element-loader-display: none;
        --etheme-element-loading-opacity: 1;
        --etheme-element-loading-visibility: visible;
    }

    https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/additional-customisation/optimal-placement-for-custom-css-code/

    Website speed depends on various factors that we do not control. What we can do is share the links that can help you with speed optimization: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/troubleshooting/how-to-speed-up-my-website/
    Every additional plugin slows down the site a bit, so we would recommend you disable unrequired plugins as well.
    For further guidance on how to improve your website’s speed, Please contact your service provider and ask them to fix it and we invite you to review our theme documentation. The following links provide detailed information on this topic:
    a. https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/troubleshooting/how-to-speed-up-my-website/
    b. https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/main-theme-options/
    c. https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/troubleshooting/how-to-improve-wp-rocket-settings-with-xstore/

    Ensure that all images are optimized for the web. You can use tools like Adobe Photoshop or free online services such as TinyPNG to reduce image file sizes without losing quality.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team

    Hi there!

    I have some concerns I’d like to address:

    1. The loader effect didn’t remove so I updated the Xstore theme version along with its core files. I added the CSS you provided, but after clearing the cache both through the backend and my browser, the pre-loader is still visible on the elements. Can you help me resolve this?

    2. On my homepage (https://lambock.com/), I have used 9 store elements and no third-party plugins. Despite this, the page performance is poor, and the speed is not optimized. Why is this happening?

    Thank you!

    Dear @4NOdes,

    We hope this message finds you well.

    We would like to inform you that the website you shared is currently running XStore version 9.4.2, while the latest available version is 9.4.6. This discrepancy is the reason why the preloader is not being hidden correctly, even with the custom CSS we provided. The current version of your website does not include the necessary styles to support this functionality. Therefore, we kindly recommend updating to the latest version of XStore to resolve this issue.

    Additionally, to enhance the performance of your website, we suggest utilizing the XStore Ajaxify feature, which is available for each Elementor widget. This feature is designed to be intuitive and does not require any coding skills. For your reference, please see the following screenshot: https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/49798158?key=c81fa20aea0720fefd3adc8c4639cf5e

    Please note that the default theme does not offer the same range of widgets and features as XStore. As a result, achieving similar results as with a default theme is not feasible, as the elements and features provided by our theme are essential for such functionality.

    Should you have any questions or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

    I have a quick question regarding the PHP error log. Currently, we are using PHP version 7.4. When we updated the PHP version to 8.2, we faced the 500 Internal Server Error with Elementor, Pro Elements, and Elementor Pro. Additionally, these plugins conflict with other plugins, especially WooCommerce. Could you please let me know which PHP version is compatible for use with these plugins?

    Thank you!

    Hello, 4Nodes,

    Thank you for contacting us. Could you please specify the versions of WordPress and plugins you are currently using? Additionally, we kindly ask you to ensure that all plugins are updated to their latest versions.

    To the best of our knowledge, all the listed plugins function well with PHP 8.2. However, please note that Elementor, Pro Elements, and Elementor Pro may encounter minor issues when used with PHP 8.3.

    Should you have any further questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    Hi!

    We have purchased Elementor Pro, and we are currently using the latest version of WordPress, which is 6.7.1. All our plugins are updated to their latest versions as well.

    Initially, we rolled back the PHP version from 8.3 to 8.2, but we still encountered several errors. Next, we rolled back from PHP 8.1 to 7.6, but we continued to experience issues. Eventually, we switched to PHP 7.4, and everything became accurate.

    Hi there,

    I have provided the FTP request and the admin credentials in the private content area.

    1. With PHP version 8.2, pages are loading with Elementor, but the category page, shop page, checkout page, and other templates are not working. The Elementor editor does not display, and we are encountering an internal server error (500).

    2. Please improve the speed of the website, especially for the areas where the XStore theme is causing issues. Additionally, let us know what you have done to improve the performance.

    3. We are experiencing another issue where the additional CSS is not loading properly on the site.

    Note: Please provide a step-by-step account of what you did and how you did it for future reference. Thank you!

    Please contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello, 4Nodes,

    Thank you for providing access to the admin panel. However, we have noticed that FTP access has not been shared with us. Could you kindly review this and provide the necessary FTP credentials as well?
    For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    Upon reviewing your WooCommerce setup, we recommend navigating to WooCommerce > Status > Logs and checking the fatal error log file with the most recent date. The log indicates that the issue originates from the Elementor plugin.
    As this pertains specifically to the Elementor plugin, we kindly suggest reaching out to their support team directly for further assistance. You can contact them via the following link: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/elementor/
    Read more – https://elementor.com/help/when-i-try-to-edit-with-elementor-i-get-an-internal-server-error/ https://elementor.com/help/500-error/

    It is important to address the initial issues before moving forward, as it is possible that your additional questions may be resolved in the process of resolving the primary concerns.

    Best regards,
    8Theme Team
