How to replace language/currency links in header by social icons?

Hello,

First, sorry if that’s a duplicate but the search system on the forum is confusing for me and I could not find the information.

Regarding that header, I would like to change the currency and languages links in the header on the right by social icons.

I have located them in /woopress/headers/parts/top-bar.php

However, if I duplicate that file in my /woopress-child/ directory, it doesn’t work. If I include that copied file in my functions.php, it creates an error as the function etheme_get_option() isn’t defined yet.

All I see so far is to edit the original file in the woopress directory, but then it defeats all the point of the child theme which allows me to modify functions while still be able to update the theme when a new version comes.

I would love to know if there is a clean way to modify that.

Hello,

You need add Text widget with content [share] into “Left Side top bar area” in Appearance > Widgets. Please try it.
